The Event

giving you an insight into the concept and narrative…

The Concept

Denim looks beyond jeans and jackets, exploring how the material itself can be transformed into something far more unexpected. Through handcrafted styling and carefully considered sets, we'll be pushing denim beyond its everyday role and discovering just how versatile and beautiful it can become.

Because there's far more to denim than meets the eye.

Think soft indigos, faded blues and natural textures. Think layered fabrics, sculptural shapes and details that celebrate the character of the material itself. Think handcrafted pieces that feel contemporary, elegant and unmistakably Luminescence.

~

Throughout the event, we'll explore different interpretations of the theme. Some looks will embrace simplicity, allowing texture and colour to take centre stage, whilst others will become more ambitious in their shape and construction, creating something altogether more fashion-led.

There is something wonderfully familiar about denim. Almost everyone has some connection to it, yet when removed from its usual context, it takes on a completely different personality. That contrast is something we're really excited to explore.

Collage of fashion and textile items made from denim and blue fabrics, including denim jeans with paint splatters, a model wearing a blue denim dress with ruffles, close-ups of denim fabric with embroidery and textures, pearl jewelry on denim, a model in a denim-inspired gown, and various fabric textures and patterns.

Our Model

Meg joins us for another of our material-led concepts, this time taking inspiration from one of the most familiar fabrics in the world.

Meg's versatility makes her the perfect fit for a concept like this. She has a natural ability to adapt to different styles and moods, allowing each set to feel distinct whilst maintaining a beautiful sense of cohesion across the day. Meg always creates a welcoming environment where photographers can relax, experiment and immerse themselves in the creative process.
